Growing in Sport:
Adam was introduced to water sports through WOW in the summer of 2004 after moving to Minnesota from Florida. He spent his first summer learning to barefoot waterski, with the occasional wakeboard run. The next summer he learned more about wake boarding and also wakeskating. In his third year of WOW Adam became part of the leadership crew. In this he learned more on barefooting, wakeboarding, wakeskating, and even skiing. For Adam it is more about experiencing all the watersports: variety and time on the water are more fun than perfection on any one sport.
Growing in Faith:
Adam discovered who Jesus is in his life at a very young age. His parents have been a key force in encouraging and supporting Adam in his faith. Adam hit a few rough times in his life. In those times he realized that the Lord would help him through anything. With God, Adam realized that he should never be ashamed to ask for help. He always remembers that God is a compassionate, forgiving, 'Wonderful Counselor". Adam enjoys living the life of a Christian and he is not ashamed to let everyone know Who he belongs to. Adam, being especially gifted at encouraging younger folks, works with youth at his church during the academic year as well as summer camp. He has been on the WOW leadership team since summer 2006.
