Rob is the Pastor of Sports and Local Outreach of Grace Church Eden Prairie. Their mission is to share Jesus Christ through sports and to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through events, leagues and clinics. Rob coordinates Grace Church's Missions Festival as well as several large men's outreach events. Additionally, as the Chapel Leader of the MN Twins baseball team, Rob acts as spiritual mentor to the players and leads chapel services and Bible studies. Whith his sports and ministry focus, its not hard to see why Rob has an interest in Walk On Water. Rob has watched WOW develop from an idea and vision in 1997 to it's significant impact locally, nationally and internationally today. The vision and mission of WOW line up perfectly with Rob's life vision and mission - to impact the world for Christ through sports.
Dana Ohnsorg
Dana's introduction to Walk On Water came in a "New Parent interview" at Chapel Hill Academy where she was the Admissions Director. The unique approach to reaching youth with the gospel through relationships on the water captured her interest. The more she learned the more interested she became. Dana and her husband enrolled their daughter that season. The following season they became a host family with Dana assuring the youth were fed nutritious meals and her husband driving the boat. In their third season, Dana joined the Board of Directors where her experience in Christian school administration as well as programs and systems in business provide insight to the team directing WOW.
Dana has been a follower of Jesus Christ since she was a teen herself. She believes in the WOW program because of the way it ministers to youth in a small group setting which allows for relationships to be established. Dana says, "there's nothing like being in a boat together out on the water - sharing in the high/lows of youth trying new tricks and then tying that experience into a lesson through Bible Study".
Dan Meiusi
Dan is a husband and father who believes in the changing power of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. He has been a business owner and entrepreneur for many years and holds an undergraduate degree in marketing and an MBA in finance. One of his favorite verses is Proverbs 3:5 & 6. Knowing that our trust should not be in our own abilities and accomplishments but rather in the Lord. Having a love for Christ and water sports since early childhood, he is excited about the ministry of WOW and the opportunity to impact youth and families for Christ through something that is so fun. Three of his children are currently involved in WOW.
Debbie Kelly Jeremiah 29:13
Debbie Kelly is the founder and president of Walk On Water. Her educational background includes a degree in Business Marketing from Arizona State University in 1986 and a master's degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Minnesota in 1997. Debbie began water skiing with her family when she was in elementary school. She has five years experience teaching Sunday School (2nd - 4th grade at Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley, MN), eight years of Bible Study Fellowship including adult and youth leadership. Debbie has been on volunteer staff for Jr High Ministry since 2001 (Grace Church Eden Prairie and Wooddale Church). Debbie has been leading WOW since 1999. Debbie became a fully devoted follower of Christ at the age of 29.
