Why WOWnet The WOW Network is for people engaged in water sports and youth ministry. Come together with us and share ideas to better serve the Lord and youth through the sport we love! Our goal is to help each other overcome obstacles that hinder us from using our passion to serve the Lord.  Walk On Water, Ltd began forming a network of people ministering or desiring to minister to youth using water sports in the summer of 2002. This WOWnet brings that alliance to a new level! An alliance of water sports ministries aimed at encouragement and sharing ideas, staffing, funding, curriculum, web site and other common needs can help us all minister more effectively and teach water sports more safely. We'll post encouraging photos and stories to help you press on for the high calling of Christ Jesus! We'll be a place for your youth to send their friends to see them in action and read about the love of Christ. Soon you can join our secure bulletin board where ideas can be shared and challenges overcome.  January 2006 marks the first annual training and brainstorming seminar for WOWnet staff and volunteers! Some of the key areas people struggle with are organization, staffing, administrative assistance, volunteers, bringing in athletes to share their sport and faith, insurance, availability of water, availability of equipment, devotionals or curriculum, non-profit status, fund raising, safety standards, youth protection policies, understanding and experience with teens and their real life issues, fear and motivation.
