The goal of the Missions component of WOW is 1) to impact for Christ the lives of youth who would not normally have an opportunity to experience water sports and 2) to provide an unforgettable, heart and eye-opening experience for the youth and staff of WOW on how God can use them and their passion for water sports to advance His Kingdom.
Missions:
Annually, WOW coordinates a one week mission trip over Christmas break to a part of the world where teens may never have experienced water sports. We provide a day of water and on-shore activities that incorporate messages of faith and trust in Christ and Jesus’ love, forgiveness, and salvation.
Outreach:
WOW coordinates outreach events where youth are encouraged to invite friends to learn more about their passion for water sports and the Lord. WOW provides ski days to youth who would not normally have such an opportunity. In 2004 WOW focused it's outreach efforts on the Spanish speaking community. In 2005, we will reach out to the deaf community.
